A local landmark for more than thirty years, our seafood arrives fresh daily from Stagnaro's in Santa Cruz. Our chef, Jeffrey D. Briggs, is French trained and has been cooking for 29 years, with executive chef postions for more than 27 years.

Jeffrey loves to be challenged: "If you have a special request--and we have the ingredients--we may be able to make it for you."

Cafe Rio specializes in the freshest seafood and also prides itself on its caring staff. Our ultimate goal is to provide a wonderful dining experience for our customers.

Dog's are welcome on our Dog Friendly Patio, and we even have a special Doggie Big Bite Menu. And steps away from Cafe Rio is one of the most enchanting sunsets in the world. After dining, you and your loved one can take a romantic beach walk; or you and your family can take the kids to the beach for some fun.
